Republican senators are standing by their recent open letter to Iran, warning that any nuclear deal reached with President Barack Obama could be undone in the future. Forty-seven Republican senators signed the letter, further evidence the debate over Iran’s nuclear ambitions will be a major issue in next year’s U.S. presidential election.
